What we collect
Only what you give us to build your biodata: the details you enter in the form (about you, your family, education, work, and preferences), the short conversation you have with us, and any photos you choose to upload. We also keep the email you use to sign in, so you can come back to your profile.
How we use it
Your details are used to write your profile and lay it out as a PDF — and nothing else. We don’t sell your information, and we don’t share it with third parties for advertising. If you choose to opt in at the end, the Samvaya team may contact you about matchmaking — but only if you ask us to.
Where it’s stored
Your answers and photos are stored securely (via Supabase), and your photos sit in private storage that only your account can reach. We keep your draft so you can finish later; if you don’t come back, we email a warning and then remove it after about 12 months of inactivity. We also use an AI writing service (to draft the written sections), Resend (email), and Cloudflare (security) — each only to run the Service.
Your rights & choices
You decide what goes into your biodata, and what doesn’t. Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can access, correct, or delete your details and photos, and withdraw consent, at any time — we process your data on the consent you give at sign-up. To exercise any of these, contact our Grievance Officer below and we’ll take care of it.
