Terms of Service

1. Who we are & acceptance
Profile Studio (the “Service”) is operated by GooCampus Edu Solutions Private Limited, the company behind Samvaya (“we”, “us”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be 18 or older and able to enter a contract. The Service is intended for individuals creating their own biodata.
3. What the Service does
Profile Studio is a free tool that helps you create a marriage biodata (a PDF) from information and photos you provide, with AI assistance for the written sections. It is not itself a matchmaking or marriage-broker service, and we do not guarantee any match, response, or marriage outcome. The PDF is yours to download and share at your discretion; we do not host public profiles.
4. Your account
Access is via a one-time code sent to your email. You’re responsible for the accuracy of your email and for activity under your account.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of the information, photos, and text you submit (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process Your Content solely to provide the Service. You confirm that: (a) the information is true and about you; (b) you own or have permission to use every photo you upload; and (c) Your Content doesn’t infringe anyone’s rights or any law.
6. AI-generated text
The written “About” sections are drafted by an AI model from your answers. AI output can contain errors or wording you didn’t intend. You can review and edit every paragraph before finalising, and you are responsible for the final content of your biodata.
7. Acceptable use
You must not: impersonate anyone or create a biodata for someone else without their consent; upload unlawful, obscene, hateful, or infringing content; upload another person’s personal data or photos without consent; attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service; or use it for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these Terms.
8. Samvaya opt-in (optional)
At the end you may choose to be added to Samvaya’s matchmaking pool. If you opt in, we share the profile details you provided with the Samvaya team so they can consider you for matches, and we will only contact you about a genuine match. If you don’t opt in, your data is not shared for matchmaking. You can withdraw at any time by contacting us at info@goocampus.in.
9. Privacy & your data rights
We process personal data (which may include sensitive data such as religion, community, and photos) per our Privacy Policy and India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, based on the consent you give at sign-up. You may access, correct, or delete your data, or withdraw consent, at any time by contacting our Grievance Officer (section 14).
10. Data retention
We keep your data while your account is active. After 12 months of inactivity we email a warning and then delete your form answers, photos, and account. We honour deletion requests promptly at any time.
11. Our intellectual property
The Service, its software, design, and the “Profile Studio” and “Samvaya” names are ours. Generated PDFs carry a discreet “Built with Samvaya” footer; you agree not to remove it from shared copies. We claim no ownership of Your Content.
12. Third-party services
We use reputable providers to run the Service — including Supabase (authentication, database, storage), an AI provider (writing assistance), Resend (email), and Cloudflare (security). Your data is processed by them only to deliver the Service.
13. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is”, without warranties, and free of charge. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, for AI-content inaccuracies, for how recipients use a PDF you shared, or for any matchmaking outcome; our total liability is limited to ₹1,000 or the amount you paid us (₹0), whichever is greater.
14. Grievance redressal (DPDP)
Grievance Officer: Maheen Ejaz, Samvaya, email info@goocampus.in. We acknowledge complaints within 72 hours and resolve them within 90 days, as required by law.
15. Changes & governing law
We may update these Terms; material changes will be noted on this page with a new date. These Terms are governed by the laws of India, with exclusive jurisdiction in the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
